Crest Atlas
Every ranked Orb Rush map hides five crests off the main racing line. Grabbing them usually means a detour — you give up some race time to hunt them. The Crest Atlas is where you see which ones you've found.
Open it from the Play tab in the Arcade (the Crest Atlas button), or go to /app/arcade/stars.
When Career is on, the Atlas also lists career races you've revealed. Those crests are a separate collection from the 15 ranked maps.
How ranked crests work
- There are 5 crests per ranked map, 15 maps, 75 crests in total.
- They only count in ranked races. They don't appear in practice, and practice finds never count.
- The same five sit in the same spots on a given map every time, so you can learn a route.
- Our servers confirm the pickup — only a real ranked finish records it.
Completing a ranked map, a whole theme (Alpine, Dune Sea, or Neon Void), or the full ranked atlas also counts toward Orb Rush quests.
Career crests
Career courses hide five crests too. They do show in career heats, and a pickup counts on every difficulty (Hard and Easy share the same crests). Filling every crest on an island feeds career quests. They never count as ranked atlas progress.
What you'll see
The Atlas groups maps by theme and shows:
- How many crests you have on each map
- Your best time on that map, and whether you hold the record
- Theme totals and how many maps you've fully cleared
- A running total across the whole Atlas
Tips
- Don't hunt crests in a high-stake lobby unless you're okay finishing off the podium — the detour costs time.
- Learn a map in practice first (crests won't show), then grab them in ranked once you know the line.
- You can pick up crests across many races. You don't need all five in a single run.
