Orb Rush Quests

Labs quests include a set built around Orb Rush. They pay Gems (big milestones add Coins and other Labs bonuses). Ranked race-count quests only count ranked races — practice doesn't fill them. Career has its own daily / weekly / lifetime quests that count career heats only. Today's Top 5 and Weekly Survival have their own quests. Map-record and league milestones track your standing, however you earned it.

Open Quests from the Labs sidebar or ask the assistant. When one completes, tap Claim (or ask the assistant to claim it).

Daily

Today's Top 5 is always on the board: race it — just finish, place doesn't matter.

Plus a rotating Orb Rush daily, for example:

  • Finish 3 ranked races
  • Win a ranked race
  • Win 3 ranked races in a row — only 3+ player heats grow the streak; leftover 2-player races hold it
  • Stick 5 perfect landings in ranked races
  • Collect 10 or 15 boost orbs in a single ranked race
  • Collect all 5 crests in a single ranked race
  • Reach FLOW x8 in 3 ranked races
  • Career — clear 3 career races, or 3-star 10 career races

These reset at midnight UTC. Career dailies only appear when Career is available.

Weekly

A bigger Orb Rush weekly, for example:

  • Finish 15 ranked races
  • Win 10 or 20 ranked races in a row (same 3+ player heat rule)
  • Land 5 podium finishes in lobbies of 3 or more
  • Find 5 new crests (the hidden pickups on each map)
  • Collect 15 boost orbs in a single ranked race
  • Collect all 5 crests in a single ranked race
  • Reach FLOW x8 in 5 or 10 ranked races
  • Make the cut in Weekly Survival 1 / 3 / 5 times (fastest half of that day's finishers — Sunday's podium is not a cut). Once 5 or fewer remain they are locked and later days are not cuts.
  • Career — 3-star 5 career races, or clear 2 podium / boss exams

These reset Sunday UTC. The Weekly Survival cut quests stay on the board every week. Career weeklies only appear when Career is available.

Lifetime (one-time)

These never reset:

  • First win in a ranked race
  • Finish 100 / 200 / 500 / 750 / 1,000 ranked races — Gems plus a large Cointivity XP grant at each rung
  • Collect all 5 crests on one map
  • Complete every crest in one theme (Alpine, Dune Sea, or Neon Void — 5 maps)
  • Find every crest in the game (all 75) — the full Crest Atlas

Win milestones

Win 10 / 50 / 250 / 1,000 ranked races — Gems and XP the whole way up; the thousandth tape is a huge Gem + XP cache.

Win 3 / 5 / 10 / 25 ranked races in a row — only 3+ player heats grow the streak. The longer rungs add Coins.

Map-record milestones

Hold 1 / 3 / 5 current map records at the same time — substantial Gems plus Coins. These track the live record boards: ranked, practice, and event records all count, and if a record is taken from you, your count drops until you take another (finished milestones stay finished).

There's also a one-time hat trick: set 3 new map records in a single UTC day (three different maps). That one pays a large Gem cache and no Coins.

League milestones

Reach the Gold, Platinum, or Diamond league — Platinum and Diamond pay Gems plus Coins. If you're already there, the quest completes the next time you open your quest list.

Career milestones

These count career heats only. They appear when Career is available. Open them from Quests — they send you to the Career world.

  • First career finish, first podium / boss, and first island clear
  • Hold 100 / 400 / 600 career stars on any one difficulty (600 is a full 3★ sweep)
  • Finish all 200 on Easy, Normal, Hard, or Insane — and the matching 3★ / 600-star master for that mode
  • Collect every crest on every race of 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 career islands

Career records (the per-course best-time board) do not count toward ranked map-record quests.

Good to know

  • Progress is automatic from race results and your standings. You don't check in.
  • Crests found in practice never count — but practice can take map records, and those count for record milestones.
  • Career quests ignore ranked and practice. Ranked quests ignore Career.
  • Rewards are mostly Gems (spend them in Crack the Vault); the big record and league milestones add Coins.
  • Orb Rush quests sit alongside your other daily / weekly / lifetime Labs quests.
