Smart Chats: Your AI Allowance, Static Mode & Top-Ups

Every AI reply in Labs uses a "smart chat." You get a generous free allowance that refills automatically — and if you're a heavy user, you can top up with Coins.

Your free allowance

Your allowance works on three rolling windows — past 24 hours, past 7 days, and past 30 days — each with its own limit and refill countdown. A new AI reply needs headroom in all three.

Higher Cointiply levels get bigger allowances. A brand-new account starts with roughly a couple hundred smart chats per day; high-tier accounts get many times that. Special promo days (like "Free smart day" or "2× smart day") appear as a badge when active.

You can check your remaining smart chats anytime — the welcome screen shows a counter, and a small status chip appears near the message box when you're running low.

What happens when it runs out: static mode

When your allowance is exhausted, chat pauses — but Labs keeps working:

  • The header shows "Smart chat is paused" with a refill countdown.
  • Quick actions stay free and unlimited: offers, surveys, offerwalls, spin the wheel, mystery boxes, streak, quests, balance, and withdrawals all still work as full-page tools.
  • A handy earn dashboard replaces the empty chat so you can keep earning while you wait.

Your allowance refills on its own as the rolling windows move — no action needed.

Top-ups (banked smart chats)

  • Bundles come in three sizes (the bigger the bundle, the better the per-chat rate).
  • Purchased chats are banked — they never expire and are only consumed after your free allowance runs out.
  • Banked chats are never blocked by the rolling windows.

Earning bonus smart chats

Some quests reward bonus smart chats, and leveling up permanently raises your free allowance. You also earn lifetime smart-chat credits for inviting friends to Labs — credits that never expire.

Tips

  • Quick-action buttons and interactive cards don't burn smart chats the way full AI replies do — use them for routine checks.
  • "Summarize & Continue In New Chat" uses some allowance to write the summary.
  • If a top-up purchase fails with "Not enough coins," earn a bit more first — Coin prices are shown before you confirm.
