Your Arsenal: Locks, Search, Crates & Lucky Charms

A few tools in Items for keeping a big arsenal under control.

Locking items

Every card in your arsenal has a small lock icon in its top-right corner. Tap it to lock the item; tap it again to unlock. (Crates can't be locked.)

A locked item can't be fired, deployed, consumed, burned, listed or given in a trade, used in a craft or fed to the Community Forge. Its lock icon turns gold and its main button reads Locked. Locking a stack locks every copy in it, and locked copies sit in their own stack.

  • Only unused items can be locked.
  • An item on the trade board has to be withdrawn before you can lock it.
  • Upgrading a locked item in the Forge keeps it locked (and so does cancelling the upgrade).
  • Locks carry over with the item if you keep it into the next season.
  • In the Craft list, a locked copy doesn't count toward a recipe; the input shows how many you have locked so you know to unlock them first.

Multipliers, drills and specials take two taps on their main button: the first shows Tap to confirm, the second uses the item. Tapping the card itself only ever shows the confirm, so a tap that misses the lock icon can't use the item.

Upgrade levels

Each upgrade in the Forge adds +15% power, up to level 15 (+225%). Once an item reaches level 15 its card shows Max level · Lv 15 in place of the Upgrade button.

Once you hold a few things, a search box appears at the top of your items. It matches names, types (Thermal, Cryo…), rarity, level ("lv 3") and "locked", across your crates and arsenal at once. The Trades board has one too, for finding a listing by the item on offer, what it accepts, rarity or who posted it. The Codex has its own search too; it only matches what a card shows, so it never gives away the name of a mystery item you haven't pulled.

Opening crate after crate

When a crate's haul lands, the summary shows Keep opening: every crate type you still hold with how many are left (including crates that just dropped from the one you opened). Tap one to open it straight away, without going back to your items. Collect closes the screen as before.

Burning Lucky Charms for luck

The cracker bonus only ever pays one charm or key, the biggest you hold, so extra Lucky Charms and Prime Lucky Charms used to sit idle. Now you can burn them for crate luck:

  • Lucky Charm: +25% crate luck for 30 minutes.
  • Prime Lucky Charm: +50% crate luck for 60 minutes.

Tap Burn on the charm's card, then tap again to confirm. Burns stack with each other and with luck from goals and raids, up to the usual luck cap (currently ×3). Your current crate luck shows next to Crates to open. Luck weights up Rare and better pulls from crates; it never changes attack power.

Burning a charm also arms it, just like Consume, so it still counts toward the cracker bonus. You get the luck on top. (As always, only your single biggest charm or key pays if you land the last hit.)
