Crack the Vault: Leaderboards & Prizes
Crack the Vault has two kinds of leaderboard running at the same time: daily category boards that hand out small Gem prizes every day, and the season leaderboard that pays out the big Coin loot pool when the vault is finally cracked. This article explains both, how you climb them, and how prizes are paid.
Daily leaderboards
Every day, five separate leaderboards track how you played. The top 5 players in each category win Gems, so there are lots of ways to place — you don't have to be the biggest spender to make a board.
| Category | What it ranks |
|---|---|
| Most Power | Total power you dealt to the vault that day |
| Biggest Attack | Your single largest hit that day |
| Most Attacks | How many hits you landed that day |
| Most Items Used | How many items you deployed that day |
| Biggest Spender | How many Gems you spent in the arsenal that day |
Open the leaderboard from the vault's Rank card and use the tabs to switch between categories. Your own rank and best score for the day are shown at the top of each board.
Daily Gem prizes
The top 5 in every category win Gems each day:
| Place | Prize |
|---|---|
| 1st | 100 Gems |
| 2nd | 60 Gems |
| 3rd | 40 Gems |
| 4th | 25 Gems |
| 5th | 15 Gems |
A few things to know:
- Boards reset at midnight UTC. Whatever you rack up during the day is what counts — the next day starts fresh.
- Prizes are paid automatically shortly after midnight. There's nothing to claim; the Gems land straight in your balance.
- You can win more than one category in the same day (for example, top the Most Power board and the Biggest Attack board together).
- The Champions tab shows yesterday's winners in every category, so you can see who took the crowns and what they won.
- There's a small minimum activity level per category to keep prizes fair, and suspended accounts are not eligible.
Gems are the currency you spend on gear inside Crack the Vault, so daily prizes give your arsenal a steady top-up just for playing actively.
The season leaderboard
Alongside the daily boards, a season-long leaderboard ranks every player by their total power contributed to the current vault. This is the board that decides the big payout.
- Your rank updates live as you deal power.
- The Rank card shows how far you are from passing the player above you and your lead over the player below.
- Only power counts toward your season rank — items you're holding don't score until you use them.
Season Coin rewards (when the vault is cracked)
When the community deals enough power to crack the vault, its Coin loot pool is shared out based on how much everyone contributed:
- Top 10 receive the highest tier share, scaled by their power.
- Top 100 receive the next tier share, weighted by power.
- All participants share the remaining portion, proportional to the power they dealt.
- Vault Cracker bonus: whoever lands the final blow that cracks the vault earns an extra bonus on top.
Top 3 podium bonus
On top of the tier shares above, the season's three highest-power contributors win an extra podium bonus — an additional prize stacked on top of their normal power share, the Vault Cracker bonus, and any trophy awards. First place wins the largest podium bonus, then second, then third, so finishing in the top 3 is well worth chasing.
The podium bonus is paid only when the vault is cracked; if the season runs out without a crack, no podium bonus is paid. You can see each leader's exact podium prize on the season Rank podium and in the prize sheet.
If a vault runs its full season without being cracked, a consolation pool is shared among participants instead (no Vault Cracker or podium bonus). Season Coin payouts are reviewed before they're released, then credited automatically as bonus claims.
Season rewards are paid in Coins (the main Cointiply currency). Daily leaderboard prizes are paid in Gems (the in-vault currency). They're separate — you can win both.
How to climb
- Play actively across the day. The Most Attacks and Most Items Used boards reward steady participation, not just a big wallet.
- Save a huge hit. Stacking multipliers and buffs before a single big attack can top the Biggest Attack board.
- Deal consistent power to climb both Most Power (daily) and your season rank at the same time.
- Spend in the arsenal to compete for Biggest Spender — and turn those items into more power.
- Check the Champions tab to see what scores actually won yesterday, then aim to beat them.
